Heaven’s Sake is my holiday song for 2011. The idea behind it is "Occupy Christmas." I was thinking about the hideous monetization (e.g. layaway) of what is meant to be a religious holiday. Christmas with piss and vinegar, if you will. If you listen closely, you’ll hear the ka-ching of a cash register in the chorus.
